Abstract
The aim of this research is to know whether there is any correlation or not between students’ Foreign Language Anxiety and Speaking for Academic Purpose Score of English Education Study Program Jambi University. The sample of this research is 50 fifth semester students of English Education Study Program Jambi University. The Method used on this research was a correlative design with descriptive quantitative approach. In collecting the data, the documentation of student’s Speaking for Academic Purpose score and the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale are used. The scores of Speaking for Academic Purpose were collected from Lecturer that teaches Speaking for Academic Purpose. Besides, in assessing students’ Foreign Language Anxiety, this research conducted questionnaire to the students. The outcome of this research shows that there is a negative correlation with the mean of entire score of Pearson Relationship is .460 that associated between students' foreign language anxiety and Speaking Score, and it implies that the null hypothesis (H0) of this study is rejected. All in all, there is a negative relationship between's Students' Foreign Language anxiety and Speaking For Academic Purpose Score.
