Abstract

ABSTRAK Based on interviews Students obtained information that Students have difficulty studying science materials in the package book, besides Students are bored with the methods taught by the teacher in explaining the science learning is done by classical lecture method. Therefore, in the delivery of the material should provide independence to the Student so that students are accustomed to develop the potential thinking. One of the most effective, efficient and self-reliant media outlets is the print-based module, experts say the learning process using the module demands students to be able to learn independently with the minimal help from Master. The purpose of this study is to help Students learn independently, because with the module Students can work on individual worksheets. The type of this research is development using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation and Evaluations). This research produces Module product which has high scientific value and can be trusted. Based on the research, the result of validation from learning material is 79,7% (Very good), validation from learning media expert 80% (good), assessment from teacher of study subject or teacher grade 84% (Very good), and result of questionnaire of student response commenting on modules is fun, and easier in understanding learning materials. The modules developed can be said to be practical, this is indicated by the response of the teacher and the student's response to the module developed has the criteria (very good), the module implementation in the learning that the result is good and the student's response after using the module developed is positive From the results of this study can be concluded that the learning module of science on the basic competence of force, motion, and energy developed effectively used as a good learning tool.
