Abstract

ABSTRAK Keywords: teacher strategy, environmental stance Environmental care is a very important part of human life. Maintaining the environment makes the quality of human life better. All the resources already available in the environment can be used by humans for their survival. The beautiful environment of course will give a positive influence for human life, and vice versa. This study aims to describe the strategy of teachers in shaping the attitude of school environment. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of this research is the teacher of SD Negeri 80 / I Rengas Condong. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. Verify the validity of data using credibility test with triangulation. Data were analyzed using data reduction measures, data displays, and conclusions. The results of this study explain that through the strategy in shaping the attitude of environmental care to students in class IV can be explained that the environment SDN 80 / I Rengas Condong already looks clean, because their concern for the environment is good. It appears that no more littering, but in its place, the cleanliness of the ditch / ditch is good, cleanliness of class or outside the classroom, then cleanliness of the toilet and cleanliness of the park in front of the classroom and school park. Based on the results of research and discussion, it can be concluded that the strategy in shaping the attitude of environmental care in grade IV students SDN 80 / I Rengas Condong is to educate, guide, direct, train, assess, evaluate. There are two aspects to the educational category: the teacher explains with the example of the importance of environmental care attitude and gives an example of environmental caring impact, for the guiding category there is one aspect that is guiding the students to choose the type of organic and non organic waste, then for the directed category there are two aspects: throw garbage in place and clean the bathroom, for the category of training there is one aspect of arranging plants in the school park, for the category of assessing there is also one aspect that is assessing students who have done environmental care activities and give awards to students, and for the category of evaluating there are two aspect ie see how far / how many number of students who already care to care about environment and see environment, have clean or not.
