Abstract

ABSTRAK—Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendesain transporter Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) kelapa sawit yang mampu mengurangi keterlambatan proses angkut TBS menuju pabrik. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode perancangan desain dengan pengembangan melalui sembilan metode analisa yang digunakan yaitu analisa geografis, analisa user, analisa kegiatan, analisa pasar, analisa kebutuhan, analisa chassis, analisa antropometri, analisa mesin, dan analisa konfigurasi bak. Hasil desain transporter Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) kelapa sawit terdiri dari bagian-bagian fungsional alat yaitu bak penampung sebagai tempat penampung TBS, rangka sebagai tempat melekatnya komponen lain, motor penggerak sebagai sumber tenaga penggerak, dan kabin operator sebagai tempat operator mengemudikan kendaraan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan, diperoleh kebutuhan daya angkut sebesar 750 kg, kebutuhan antropometri persentil 95% untuk kabin operator, serta kebutuhan daya menggunakan mesin Yanmar TS 230 R-di. Kata Kunci: Alat angkut, Kelapa sawit, Perancangan. ABSTRACT—This study aims to design an oil palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) transporter that can reduce delays in the FFB transport process to the mill. The method used in this research is a design design method with development through nine analytical methods used, namely geographical analysis, user analysis, activity analysis, market analysis, needs analysis, chassis analysis, anthropometric analysis, engine analysis, and tub configuration analysis. The design results of the oil palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) transporter consist of functional parts of the tool, namely the container as a container for FFB, the frame as a place for attaching other components, the driving motor as a source of propulsion, and the operator's cabin as a place for the operator to drive the vehicle. Based on the results of the needs analysis, the required carrying capacity of 750 kg, the anthropometric needs of 95% percentile for the operator's cabin, and the power requirements of the Yanmar TS 230 R-di engine were obtained.
