Abstract

ABSTRACT Learning process in Protozoa submaterial consists of various terms in Latin that are difficult to understand students. In addition, lessons on Protozoa submaterial were not conveyed directly by the teacher due to various incidental activities like teacher’s meeting, student council organization activities and others. So the teacher only gives assignments regarding to the Protozoan submaterial. It affects the low average of daily re-submission of Protozoan submaterial in X graders Senior High School 1 Jambi city. In addition, instructional media that support Protozoa submaterial in Biology learning are still lacked and do not include complete learning materials. Therefore, to overcome the problematic learning above, students can use the interactive bilingual e-learning media based on iSpring Suite 8 in learning Protozoan submaterial. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Kota Jambi. This study aims to develop an interactive bilingual e-learning media based on iSpring Suite 8 on Protozoa submaterial and test its feasibility, know the assessment of Biology subject teachers (1 person) and small group test (9 students of class X Science I) and large group test (33 students of class X science 2) who have studied Protozoa material. This study uses ADDIE development model which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The instrument of data collection in this research is in the form of questionnaire. The products that have been developed are then validated by a team of experts consisting of material experts and media experts. The types of data in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. The result of validation by the material expert obtained the final score of 38 and the percentage of 79.17% with the category of "Good" and the results of validation by the media expert (design) obtained the final score of 36 or 75% with the category "Good". The result of the teacher's appraisal was obtained by score 44 and the percentage of 91,67% with the category of "Very Good" and small group trial obtained score 373 and percentage 86,34% with category "Good" and large group trial obtained score 1,458 and 92,05% category "Good". Based on the results of the study can be concluded that the Media E-Learning Bilingual Interactive Based iSpring Suite 8 In Protozoa Materials For High School Grade X students are eligible to be used in learning activities in the classroom or as learning materials for independent learners.
