Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) untuk mengetahui gambaran usahatani padi sawah, (2)iuntuk menghitung penerimaan, biaya dan pendapatan usahatani padi sawah, dan (3) untuk menganalisis kelayakan dari usahatani padi sawah. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Pasar Terusan Kecamatan Muara Bulian Kabupaten Batang Hari yang dipilih berdasarkan luas lahan dan jumlah petani terbanyak. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 43 petani padi sawah. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan April sampai Mei 2021. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) usahatani padi sawah di Desa Pasar Terusan dilakukan pada lahan sawah rawa lebak dengan kegiatan : persiapan benih, pengolahan lahan, penanaman, pemeliharaan dan pemanenan. Sistem tanam yang banyak digunakan di daerah penelitian adalah sistem tanam acak 60 persen (2) rata-rata penerimaan yaitu sebesar Rp23.871.230,51 ha/MT dengan total biaya usahatani sebesar Rp7.817.758,32 ha/MT dan rata-rata pendapatan sebesar Rp16.053.472,20 ha/MT, dan (3) kelayakan usahatani dilihat dari R/C rasio > 1, dan hasil perhitungan break even point pada usahatani padi sawah daerah penelitian diperoleh penerimaan > BEP penerimaan, produksi > BEP produksi dan harga > BEP harga (layak). Kata Kunci : Usahatani Padi Sawah, Pendapatan dan Kelayakan. This research aims to: (1) to determine the description of lowland rice farming, (2) to calculate the income, costs and income of lowland rice farming, and (3) to analyze the feasibility of lowland rice farming. The data used are primary and secondary data. This research was conducted in Pasar Terusan Village, Muara Bulian District, Batanghari Regency which was selected basedion the land area and the largest number of farmers. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling with a total sample of 43 rice farmers. The research was conducted from April to May 2021. The data analysis method used was descriptive and quantitative analysis. The results showed that : (1) paddy rice farming in Pasar Terusan Village was carried out on Lebak swamp rice fields with the following activities : seed preparation, land preparation, planting, maintenance and harvesting. The cropping system that is widely used in the research area is a random cropping system of 60 percent, (2) the average revenue is Rp23,871,230.51 ha/MT with a total farming cost of Rp7,817,758.32 ha/MT and an average income of Rp16.053,472.20 ha/MT, and (3) the feasibility of farming seen from the R/C ratio > 1, and the results of the calculation of the break even point in lowland rice farming in the research area obtained revenue > BEP acceptance production > BEP production and price > BEP price (worthy).
