Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of fertilizer application of biorine cattle and NPK and get the best dose of cocoa seed growth (Theobroma cacao L.). This research was conducted in field experiment of Jambi University Faculty of Agriculture from January to April 2017. The study was conducted Randomized design group with four replications used in the trial. There were six treatments that were tested, ie without treatment (control), NPK 15 g / tan, 7.5 ml / ℓ + NPK biochemical fertilizer 12.25 g / tan, 12.5 ml / ℓ + NPK 7 cattle biourine, 5 g / tan, cow biourine fertilizer 18.5 ml / ℓ + NPK 3.75 g / tan, 25 ml / ℓ beef biourine fertilizer. Each experiment consisted of 5 seed units and three nurseries to be sampled to obtain a total of 120 seedlings. Observations were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, total leaf area, crown dry weight, and dry weight of the roots. The results showed that the application of cow biorine fertilizer with NPK gave the best effect on the treatment of cow biourine fertilizer 18.5 ml / ℓ + NPK 3.75 g / tan.
