Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran tematik di kelas VI SD N 65/II Sungai Bangsat. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil pembelajaran tematik dengan menggunakan strategi Planted Question berbasis media gambar di SD N 65/II Sungai Bangsat, Kecamatan Pelepat. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dengan dua siklus masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Setiap siklusnya terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilaksanaka pada semester ganjil dan subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VI SD N 65/II Sungai Bangsat terdiri dari 22 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keaktivan belajar peserta didik, yaitu pada siklus I 40% dengan kategori cukup, sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 65% dengan kategori baik. Hasil observasi meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 15%. Hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I rata-rata ketuntasan 63,54% kemudian pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan rata-rata ketuntasan 88,18%. Hasil belajar peserta didik meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 24,64%. Disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan strategi Planted Question berbasis gambar dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar tematik. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in thematic learning activities and outcomes using the image-based Planted Question strategy at SD N 65/II Sungai Bangsat, Pelepat District. This research is a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. This research was conducted in odd semesters and the subjects of this study were students of class VI SD N 65/II Sungai Bangsat consisting of 22 students. Data collection techniques are observation, test and documentation. The results showed an increase in student learning activities, namely in the first cycle 40% with the sufficient category, while in the second cycle it reached 65% in the good category. The results of observations increased from cycle I to cycle II by 15%. The learning outcomes of students in the first cycle averaged 63.54%, then in the second cycle the average mastery increased 88.18%. Student learning outcomes increased from cycle I to cycle II by 24.64%. It is concluded that the use of image-based Planted Question strategies can increase thematic learning activities and outcomes.
