Abstract

This survey research aimed at identify the digital literacy identity level of Magister students in the English Education Program at Universitas Jambi. This research is also aimed at investigating the correlation between all the components of the digital literacy component. The participants of this research were 66 Magister students. The research instruments were close-ended questionnaires that were distributed through Google Form. The descriptive and inferential statistics from the SPSS program version 26 were used to analyze the research data. The results revealed that the magister students had a high level of digital literacy identity as measured by an overall score of 132.69 (SD = 14.61). In addition, the total mean score for digital literacy was 67.08 (SD = 7.42), the total mean score for self-regulated learning was 21.69 (SD = 2.37), and motivation, with a total mean score of 44.19 (SD = 4.82). Besides, the correlation result showed that there is a high correlation between all components of the digital literacy identity of magister students by the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. Although the students’ digital literacy identity is at a high level, they still need to improve their digital literacy skills.
