Abstract
Grammar is a crucial skill because it is connected with other English skills such as reading, writing, listening, and speaking It has to be mastered to use English appropriately. The function of the grammar itself is the rule or the system of language. Because of the importance of grammar, teachers have to provide their English language-learner with appropriate learning media. This paper examines the study of developing motion graphics as a Grammar supplementary learning media in junior high school. The purpose of the study is to provide teachers with a motion graphic video as grammar supplementary learning media based on textbook and curriculum. The learning media is also expected to be the resource to learn grammar to help students independently at home. To gather the data, the researcher use an open-ended questionnaire for students and an interview for the teacher and use a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the data. The data are from eight-grader students and teacher in SMP 16. This study use ADDIE model to developed the media which accronim of analysis, design, develop, implement, and evaluate, but the research ended until development phase and the produts are validated by the experts.
