Abstract

Penelitian Ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sifat fisik Ultisol terhadap kompos campuran tatal karet dan pupuk kandang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan melakukan eksperimen dengan perlakuan tanpa pupuk kompos, pupuk kompos 5 ton/ha, pupuk kompos 10 ton/ha, pupuk kompos 15 ton/ha, dan pupuk kompos 20 ton/ha dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK). Parameter yang dianalisis yaitu bahan organik, bobot volume tanah, kadar air tanah, total ruang pori tanah, tinggi tanaman jagung manis, dan hasil jagung manis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompos campuran tatal karet dan pupuk kandang berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot volume tanah, total ruang pori, dan kadar air tanah. Kompos campuran tatal karet dan pupuk kandang tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap bahan organik tanah, tinggi tanaman jagung manis, dan hasil jagung manis. This study aims to determine the effect of the physical properties of Ultisol on the compost mixture of rubber chips and manure. This study used a descriptive method by conducting experiments with treatments without compost, compost 5 tons/ha, compost 10 tons/ha, compost 15 tons/ha, and compost 20 tons/ha using a Randomized Block Design (RAK). . Parameters analyzed were organic matter, soil volume weight, soil moisture content, total soil pore space, sweet corn plant height, and sweet corn yield. The results showed that the compost mixture of rubber chips and manure had a significant effect on soil volume weight, total pore space, and soil moisture content. Compost mixture of rubber chips and manure had no significant effect on soil organic matter, sweet corn plant height, and sweet corn yield.
