Khoirunnisa. 2022. Students and Teacher Perceptions of MIKIR Method In English Online Learning. A Thesis English Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of Jambi University in Academic Year 2021/2022. The first supervisor is Dr. Fortunasari, S.S., M.A. The second supervisor is Hadiyanto, S. Pd. M.Ed. Ph. D. Keywords: Perceptions, MIKIR Method, Online Learning This research aims to investigate and describes students and teacher perceptions of the implementation of the MIKIR method in English online learning at SMP Ahmad Dahlan Kota Jambi. This study focuses on the implementation concept of the MIKIR method. An explanatory sequential mixed method was chosen as the design in this research. This research was conducted in SMP Ahmad Dahlan Kota Jambi with 50 total number student participants from classes 8D and 8E and an English teacher as the subject of the research. The data of this research are collected by using questionnaires and interviews. The questionnaire consists of 20 statements about the implementation of MIKIR concepts. The interview contains response and teachers' perceptions which is based on the questionnaires. The result of data analysis found that students' and teacher perceptions are positive by looking at the high interpretation of the implementation of the MIKIR method in online learning.
