Abstract

ABSTRAK Mutiara Afribrilyanda. Analisis Faktor – Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Kesejahteraan Petani Nanas di Desa Tangkit Baru Kecematan Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Dibimbing oleh Ir. Yusma Damayanti, M.Si dan Ardhiyan Saputra, S.P., M.Si. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) untuk mendeskripsikan gambaran umum usahatani nanas yang ada di Kecamatan Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, 2) untuk mendiskripsikan tingkat kesejahteraan petani nanas di Kecamatan Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, 3) untuk mendeskripsikan factor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraan petani nanas di Kecamatan Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dengan pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 68 petani. Alat analisis yang digunakanuntuk mengukur tingkat kesejahteraan petani nanas menggunakan tujuh indikator Badan Pusat Statistik serta untuk mengukur faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraan petani di daerah penelitian menggunakan analisis Regresi Logistic Binary. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata tingkat kesejahteraan petani nanas di di Kecamatan Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi berdasarkan indikator tingkat kesejahteraan Badan Pusat Statistik (2014), sebanyak 36 atau 52,94% petani sampelberada pada kategori belum sejahtera dan 29 atau 47,06% petani sampel berada pada kategori sejahtera, sedangkan menurut kriteria sajogyo terdapat 75% petani sampel berada pada kondisi nyaris miskin atau rata-rata konsumsi berasnya sebesar 321 - 480 kg, 2) Tingkat kesejahteraan petani nanas di di Kecamatan Sungai Gelam Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dipengaruhi secara nyata atau signifikan oleh dua variabel yaitu produktivitas lahan (0,0048), pendapatan (0,00308), akses ke pusat ekonomi (0,0468), sedangkan pengalaman berusahatani (0,0609) tidak berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kesejahteraan petani. This study aims to 1) describe the general description of pineapple farming in Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, 2) to describe the welfare level of pineapple farmers in Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, 3) to describe the factors that influence the level of welfare of pineapple farmers in Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency, with a purposive selection of locations with a total sample of 68 farmers. The analytical tool used to measure the welfare level of pineapple farmers uses seven indicators from the Central Statistics Agency and to measure the factors that affect the welfare level of farmers in the research area using Binary Logistic Regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Based on the results of the study, it shows that the average welfare level of pineapple farmers in Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency based on the indicators of the welfare level of the Central Statistics Agency (2014), as many as 36 or 52.94% of sample farmers are in the category not yet prosperous and 29 or 47.06% of the sample farmers are in the prosperous category, while according to the Sajogyo criteria, 75% of the sample farmers are in a near-poor condition or the average consumption of rice is 321 - 480 kg, 2) The welfare level of pineapple farmers in Sungai Gelam District, Muaro Jambi Regency is significantly or significantly influenced by two variables, namely land productivity (0.0048), income (0.00308), access to economic centers (0.0468), while farming experience (0.0609) does not affect the level of welfare of farmers.
