Abstract
Keterampilan proses sains dan kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan keterampilan dan kemampuan harus dimiliki oleh siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh keterampilan proses sains terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi rangkaian arus searah di SMAN/MAN Se-Kecamatan Muara Bulian. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Batanghari dan SMAN 1 Batanghari pada Oktober 2021-Maret 2022. Desain penelitian ini adalah kausal-asosiatif. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi dan soal tes essay. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh keterampilan proses sains terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi rangkaian arus searah dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 54,2%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disarankan agar guru dapat mendukung peningkatan keterampilan proses sains dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Science process skills and critical thinking skills are skills and abilities that must be possessed by students. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of science process skills on students' critical thinking skills on direct current circuit material at SMAN/MAN in Muara Bulian District. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Batanghari and SMAN 1 Batanghari in October 2021-March 2022. The design of this study was causal-associative. In this study, data collection instruments were used in the form of observation sheets and essay test questions. The data obtained were analyzed quantitatively by simple linear regression analysis. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that there is an influence of science process skills on students' critical thinking skills on direct current circuit material with a coefficient of determination of 54.2%. Based on the research results, it is suggested that teachers can support the improvement of science process skills and students' critical thinking skills.
