Abstract
ABSTRACT A field experiment to evaluate effect of organic matter and trichoderma doses on growth and yield of tomatoes was carried out at Experimental Farm, Agricultural Faculty, Jambi University, from Mei through to Novembert 2011. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Block Design with four replications. The treatmen consisted of three kinds of organic matter i.e. : manure; alang-alang; rice straw; and three doses of trichoderma i.e.: 5 g per plant; 10 g per plant and 15 g per plant. The result showed that manure and 15 g per plant of trichoderma given the highest growth and yield of tomatoes. Key words: tomatoes, organic matter, trichoderma, d
