Abstract
Limbah kol memiliki potensi cukup tinggi untuk dijadikan bahan pakan ternak pengganti hijauan akan tetapi limbah kol memiki kelemahan yaitu mudah membusuk karena memiliki kadar air yang tinggi, oleh karena itu untuk mengatasi hal tersebut maka dilakukan pengolahan pembuatan wafer ransum komplit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama penyimpanan terhadap kualitas sifat fisik wafer ransum komplit berbasis limbah kol berperekat onggok. Bahan yang digunakan adalah limbah kol sebagai sumber serat, tepung bungkil kelapa, dedak padi, tepung bungkil inti sawit, mineral mix dan NaCL sebagi konsentrat dan onggok sebagai perekat. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan empat perlakuan yaitu : WRK-P0 (Tanpa disimpan), WRK-P2 (Penyimpanan 2 minggu), WRK-P4 (Penyimpanan 4 minggu), dan WRK-P6 (Penyimpanan 6 mingggu). Peubah yang diamati adalah kerapatan wafer, ketahanan benturan, berat jenis, daya serap air, dan kadar air. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Ragam (ANOVA) dan jika terdapat pengaruh yang nyata dilakukan uji polinomial Ortogonal (PO). Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lama penyimpanan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kerapatan wafer (0,63-0,66 g/cm3), daya serap air (242–252%) dan ketahanan benturan (96,44 - 94,58 %), namun berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) secara linear terhadap berat jenis (1,07 - 1,22 g/ml) dengan persamaan Y=0,0246x+1,0887, dan terhadap kadar air (14,83-17,64%) dengan persamaan Y=0,4778x+14,868. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa lama penyimpanan selama 6 minggu masih memperlihatkan kualitas fisik WRKLK yang cukup baik. Cabbage waste has a high enough potential to be used as a substitute for forage animal feed, but cabbage waste has a weakness, namely it is easy to decompose because it has a high water content, therefore to overcome this, a complete wafer ration processing is carried out. This study aims to determine the effect of storage time on the quality of the physical properties of complete ration wafers based on cabbage waste with onggok adhesive. The materials used were cabbage waste as a source of fiber, coconut cake flour, rice bran, palm kernel cake flour, mineral mix and NaCL as concentrate and onggok as adhesive. The experimental design used in this study was a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments, namely: WRK-P0 (without storage), WRK-P2 (2 weeks storage), WRK-P4 (4 weeks storage), and WRK-P6 ( 6 weeks storage). The observed variables were wafer density, impact resistance, specific gravity, water absorption, and water content. The data were analyzed using Analysis of Variety (ANOVA) and if there was a significant effect, the Orthogonal Polynomial (PO) test was performed. The results showed that storage time had no significant effect (P>0.05) on wafer density (0.63-0.66 g/cm3), water absorption (242–252%) and impact resistance (96.44 - 94). ,58%), but it had a significant (P<0.05) linear effect on the specific gravity (1.07 - 1.22 g/ml) with the equation Y=0.0246x+1.0887, and on the water content (14 .83-17.64%) with the equation Y=0.4778x+14.868. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the storage period of 6 weeks still showed good physical quality of WRKLK.
