Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Return On Investment (ROI), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset TurnOver (TATO), Net Profit Margin (NPM) on LQ 45 companies on stock returns, and to find out whether firm size can moderate the relationship between ROI, DER, CR, TATO, and NPM in LQ 45 companies on stock returns. The sample in this study is 25 (twenty five) companies listed on the LQ45 Index for the 2019-2021 period, which have complete financial statements for the 2019-2021 period. The data in this study are primary data. The analytical method used is Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis using the Warp PLS program. The results showed that 1) Return On Investment (ROI) did not have a significant effect on stock returns. The effect of Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) has a significant influence on stock returns. The effect of the Current Ratio (CR) has a significant influence on stock returns. The effect of Total Asset TurnOver (TATO) does not have a significant effect on stock returns. The effect on the Net Profit Margin (NPM) does not have a significant effect on stock returns. Firm size has a significant influence in moderating the relationship between ROI, CR, and TATO in LQ 45 companies on stock returns in the 2019-2021 period with p-value <0.05, but firm size does not have a significant effect in moderating the relationship between DER and NPM in LQ 45 companies on stock returns.
