Abstract
Digital literacy is needed in the 4.0 era, in general, digital literacy is the ability to use information & communication technology to find, evaluate, utilize, create, and communicate content/information, with both cognitive and technical skills. Optimizing the use of information and communication technology is urgently needed at the village government level, including in Pematang Jering Village. Several government programs in this village can be more optimal if assistance from groups with digital literacy skills plays a role, in line with various programs promoted by the Government. Since the pandemic era, the majority of the generation Z group spent their time and activities at home, including those who live in Pematang Jering Village. This service program meets the need for the involvement of Digital literacy from the village government, and the potential for participation of generation Z groups in this village. From this there is the potential for development participation related to digital literacy that can be optimized during a pandemic by this group. The ability and understanding of technology that is possessed by the average high school student and college student who understands matters related to digitalization, internet browsing and management skills for social media. Combined with formal activities during the pandemic period which makes them spend more of their time without leaving the village, would then synergize with the need for several government programs at the village level. Located in a village in Jambi Luar kota Sub-district, Muaro Jambi District, Jambi Province, this community service program will try to synergize both things by holding several workshops, with a focus on directing the existing potential with the aim of increasing village development.
