Maritime learning at early childhood education units aims to provide children with a cognitive understanding of Indonesia's identity as a maritime nation from an early age. However, maritime learning still cannot be realized in TK IT An-Nahl Percikan Iman Jambi. This is the basis for the maritime module based on cognitive development at the pre-operational stage for class A students of TK IT An-Nahl Percikan Iman Jambi creation. OBJECTIVES This study aims to determine the validity of the content of the maritime learning module based on cognitive development at the pre-operational stage for class A students of TK IT An-Nahl Percikan Iman Jambi. METHOD This research is a type of module content validity test with four to five years old class A students of TK IT An-Nahl Percikan Iman Jambi as research subjects. The assessment technique uses the Aiken's V method which is assessed by two validators from the field of educational psychology and one validator from the field of early childhood education. RESULT The learning module is proven valid. Most of the maritime learning activity items in the module obtained very high validity scores in the range of 0.83 to 0.92. The validators suggest some suggestions to improve the module and the module improvement are carried out taking into account the suggestions of the validators. CONCLUSION The learning module can be concluded as valid. Keywords: Content validity test, module, maritime learning, cognitive development, kindergarten
