Abstract

ABSTRACT Background : Human tends to form a group even a gemeinshcaft together. This gemeinschaft is formed based on the same ideology, race, and even bloodline. Sometimes they who take sanctuary in these gemeinschaft had to bend over norms within those community. This phenomenon is called conformity. Goal : This research’s goal is to describe conformity in general on United Batak Youth Association Jambi City. Research Method : This research used quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The population of this research is United Batak Youth Association Jambi City. Purpossive sampling technique was used on this research with a total of subject of 32 individuals. The research scale distributed online through google form. Result : In this study, the overall conformity found that members of the community association tended to be in the moderate category with a percentage of 46.9%. Conclusion&sugestion : The overall level of conformity in the United Batak Youth Association of Jambi City is in the medium category, so that the community is expected to do more social activities together.
