Implementation of Lesson Study With STEM Approach to Describe Student Learning Activities Using TBLA on Business and Energy Materials: Thesis, Physics Education Study Program, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Jambi University, Supervisor (I) Nova Susanti, S.Pd., M.Sc. (II) Alrizal, S.Pd., M.Sc. Keywords: lesson study, STEM, physics learning, transcript based lesson analysis. This research is motivated by the low activity of students X IPA 2 SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. The purpose of this research is to apply physics learning with lesson study using the STEM approach on the material of work and energy. The type of research used is mixed methods. Sources of data in the study obtained from qualitative data and quantitative data. Qualitative data obtained from the application of lesson study. Then, quantitative data were obtained from the students' learning activity instruments. Qualitative data analysis in this study was through recording all teacher and student activities as well as observations made by observers. Then analyze quantitative data using four Likert scales and then look for the percentage. The results of this study indicate that the results of observations of student learning activities in cycles 1 and 2 are active students in the learning process. In cycle 1 there are 8 indicators that have good activity criteria with a percentage range of 50% - 75%, and 2 indicators that have sufficient activity criteria with a percentage range of 25% - 50%. Then in cycle 2 there are 3 indicators that have very good criteria with a percentage range of 75% - 100%, and 7 indicators have good activity criteria with a percentage range of 50% - 75%. In addition, the results of observations made in class X IPA 2 stated that students were more active in learning activities. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of lesson study on business and energy materials has been carried out well according to the lesson study plan, do, and see stages. It is suggested that teachers can apply STEM-based lesson study with transcript-based lesson analysis in classroom learning, making it easier for teachers to analyze students' individual abilities. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya keaktifan siswa X IPA 2 SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan pembelajaran fisika dengan lesson study menggunakan pendekatan STEM pada materi usaha dan energi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah mixed methods. Sumber data dalam penelitian diperoleh dari data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari penerapan lesson study. Kemudian, data kuantitatif diperoleh dari instrumen keaktifan belajar siswa. Analisis data kualitatif dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui pencatatan semua aktivitas guru dan siswa serta observasi yang dilakukan oleh observer. Kemudian analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan empat skala likert kemudian dicari persentasenya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil pengamatan keaktifan belajar siswa keseluruhan pada siklus 1 dan 2 siswa aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada siklus 1 terdapat 8 indikator yang memiliki kriteria keaktifan baik dengan rentang persentase 50% - 75%, dan 2 indikator yang memiliki kriteria keaktifan cukup dengan rentang persentase 25% - 50%. Kemudian pada siklus 2 terdapat 3 indikator yang memiliki kriteria sangat baik dengan rentang persentase 75% - 100%, dan 7 indikator memiliki kriteria keaktifan baik dengan rentang persentase 50% - 75%. Selain itu, hasil pengamatan yang dilakukan di kelas X IPA 2 menyatakan bahwa siswa lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Berdasarkan penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan penerapan lesson study pada materi usaha dan energi sudah terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengan tahapan lesson study plan, do, dan see. Disarankan agar guru dapat menerapkan lesson study berbasis STEM dengan analisis pelajaran berbasis transkrip dalam pembelajaran di kelas, sehingga memudahkan guru untuk menganalisis kemampuan individu siswa.
