Abstract

ABSTAK LATAR BELAKANG: Rasio kewirausahaan di Indonesia masih rendah, yakni sebesar 3,47%, untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perlunya pengadaan berbagai aktivitas guna meningkatkan minat berwirausaha khususnya pada mahasiswa. Peningkatan intensi berwirausaha dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor salah satunya faktor kepribadian, sehingga peneliti tertarik melihat hubungan intensi berwirausaha dengan the big five personality. TUJUAN: Untuk melihat hubungan the big five personality dengan intensi berwirausaha pada mahasiswa SIB E-Commerce angkatan 1 METODE: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, populasi penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program SIB E-Commerce Angkatan 1 berjumlah 200 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Random Sampling dengan sempel sebanyak 119 mahasiswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner berupa skala adaptasi Big Five Inventory (BFI) dan skala intensi berwirausaha yang dirumuskan peneliti berdasarkan teori planned behaviour. Analisis data menggunakan analisis Pearson’s Product Moment. HASIL: Adanya hubungan positif signifikan antara the big five personality dengan intensi berwirausaha dengan R= 0,493, p value <0.001, terdapat hubungan negatif signifikan antara trait neuroticism dengan intensi berwirausaha serta adanya hubungan positif signifikan antara trait extravertions, openess to experience, agreeableness, concientiousness dengan intensi berwirausaha. KESIMPULAN: Terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara the big five personality dengan intensi berwirausaha dan the big five personality memberikan kontribusi efektif sebesar 24,3 % terhadap skor intensi berwirausaha. ABSTRACT INTRODUCTION: The ratio of entrepreneurship in Indonesia is still low, namely 3.47%, to overcome this, the need to procure various activities to increase interest in entrepreneurship, especially in students. The increase in entrepreneurial intentions is influenced by various factors, one of which is personality factors, so researchers are interested in seeing the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and the big five personalities. OBJECTIVES: To seeing the relationship between the big five personality and entrepreneurial intentions in SIB E-Commerce students batch 1. METHOD: This research is a correlational quantitative research, the population of this study is students of the SIB E-Commerce Batch 1 program totaling 200 students. Sampling using the Random Sampling method with a total of 119 students. Data collection used questionnaires in the form of a Big Five Inventory (BFI) adaptation scale and an entrepreneurial intention scale formulated by researchers based on the theory of planned behavior. Data analysis using Pearson's Product Moment analysis. RESULTS: There is a significant positive relationship between the big five personality and entrepreneurial intentions with R= 0.493, p value <0.001, there is a significant negative relationship between trait neuroticism and entrepreneurial intentions and there is a significant positive relationship between trait extravertions, openess to experience, agreeableness, concientiousness with entrepreneurial intentions. CONCLUSIONS: There is a significant positive relationship between the big five personality and the big five personality contributes 24.3% effectively to the entrepreneurial intention score.
