Abstract
ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to explore teachers’ ICT utilization challenges and to explain teachers’ pedagogical knowledge of ICT utilization challenges in online learning in the covid-19 pandemic. The research design was case study qualitative. It took two English teachers as the participants. The interviews and documents were used to collect data in order to answer the research questions The document that is used is based on teachers’ online learning reports and screenshots of online learning. The result of the research is also based on English teachers’ interviews with researcher. As the result, there are some teachers’ ICT utilization challenges in online learning. The first is the teachers’ qualified technological facilities, the second is the teachers’ modification skills of teaching materials using technology, and the last teachers’ obstacles in the implementation of online learning using ICT. The teachers used their pedagogical knowledge to overcome those teachers’ ICT utilization challenges in online learning. There are some ways to overcome those challenges. First, the teachers provided the online learning media. Second, the teachers joined some teachers’ ICT training in online learning.
