Abstract
KEMAMPUAN MENGIDENTIFIKASI UNSUR INTRINSIK TEKS CERITA FANTASI SISWA KELAS VII D SMP NEGERI 22 KOTA JAMBI TAHUN AJARAN 2017/2018 Aripa Lailatul Hasanah, Imam Suwardi Wibowo, Aripudin FKIP Universitas Jambi ABSTRACT This study aims to obtain information about how the ability to identify the intrinsic elements of fantasy texts text (1) Themes, (2) Characteristics, (3) Flow, (4) Background, and (5) The mandate by students of grade VII D SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi Academic Year 2017/2018.The type and approach used in this research is quantitative descriptive. Through these types and approaches, data on the ability to identify the intrinsic elements of the fantasy texts will be collected. The data will be processed through corrections, assessments, and the search for the average value of ability. Intrumen data collection used in this research is test. This research was conducted on 02 s.d 20 January 2018. The subjects of this study are the students of class VII D SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi which amounted to 32 students. Analysis of research data using statistical methods.The results showed that students 'ability in identifying the intrinsic elements of class VII fantasy story SMP Negri 22 Kota Jambi got an average score of 59.08, the value is in the interval 40-59, it can be concluded that the students' ability in identifying the intrinsic elements of the story text fantasy class VII D SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi categorized as less capable. Students' ability to identify the intrinsic elements of the fantasy texts can be concluded that: (1) the theme element obtains an average value of 78 able categories, (2) the characterizing element obtains an average score of 60.41 with sufficient categorization, (3) the average value of 52.08 is in poor category, (4) the background element obtains an average rating of 56.51 in the less able categories (5) the mandate element obtains an average grade of 48.43 in underprivileged categories.Based on the results of this study conclusions are taken is the ability to identify the intrinsic elements of fiction story text students of class VII D SMP Negeri 22 Kota Jambi categorized as less capable. Then it was suggested to Indonesian teachers in SMP 22 Kota Jambi more improved in the study of literature, especially fantasy story text. And often provide practice questions about the intrinsic elements that are less dikuasi by students, especially elements of flow, background, and mandate.
