Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: COVID-19 merupakan penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 ( SARS-CoV-2 ). Penyebaran virus corona berlangsung sangat cepat dan meluas ke berbagai negara dalam waktu yang sangat singkat, fakor yang memungkinkan dikarenakan kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam mematuhi protokol kesehatan seperti menjaga jarak, memakai masker, menghindari kerumunan, mencuci tangan dan lain-lain. Tujuan: Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menilai persepsi masyarakat tentang pentingnya pencegahan COVID-19 Di Desa Donorojo Kecamatan Jayaloka. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif Kuantitatif. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Di Desa Donorojo Kecamatan Jayaloka yang telah memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditetapkan oleh peneliti. Dan data ini dianalisis menggunakan analisis distributif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan jumlah sampel yaitu 98 orang. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pencegahan COVID-19 berada dalam kategori sedang, diantaranya kerentanan yang dirasakan sebanyak 66 orang (67.3%), keparahan yang dirasakan sebanyak 59 orang ( 60.2%), manfaat yang dirasakan sebanyak 62 orang (63.3%), hambatan yang dirasakan sebanyak 49 orang (50.0%), isyarat untuk bertindak sebanyak 69 orang (70.4%), Self efficacy sebanyak 79 orang (80.6%), dan persepsi masyarakat tentang pentingnya pencegahan COVID-19 Di Desa Donorojo sebanyak 68 orang (69.4%). Simpulan: Kesimpulan didapatkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pencegahan COVID-19 berada dilevel sedang. Agar persepsi masyarakat masuk kedalam kategori tinggi, pemerintah desa harus lebih peduli dengan cara berkolaborasi dengan pihak puskesmas diadakannya promkes. Kata Kunci: Persepsi, COVID-19 ABSTRACT Background: COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The spread of the corona virus took place very quickly and spread to various countries in a very short time, a possible factor due to the lack of public awareness in complying with health protocols such as maintaining distance, wearing masks, avoiding crowds, washing hands and others. Destination: The purpose of the study was to assess public perceptions about the importance of preventing COVID-19 in Donorojo Village, Jayaloka District. Method: This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The sample in this study was the community in Donorojo Village, Jayaloka District who had met the criteria set by the researcher. And this data was analyzed using distributive analysis. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 98 people. Results: The results of this study indicate that public perception of the importance of preventing COVID-19 is in the moderate category, including the perceived vulnerability of 66 people (67.3%), the perceived severity of 59 people (60.2%), the perceived benefits of 62 people (63.3% ), the obstacles felt by 49 people (50.0%), cues to act as many as 69 people (70.4%), Self efficacy as many as 79 people (80.6%), and community perceptions about the importance of preventing COVID-19 in Donorojo Village as many as 68 people ( 69.4%). Conclusion: The conclusion is that the public's perception of the importance of preventing COVID-19 is at a moderate level. In order for people's perceptions to fall into the high category, the village government should be more concerned with collaborating with the puskesmas to hold health promotions.
