Abstract

Pregnancy is a natural process experienced by a woman at a productive age. Pregnancy naturally can cause the immune system of pregnant women to decrease, this makes pregnant women vulnerable to infections, including Covid-19 infection. In a state without a pandemic, pregnancy can cause pregnant women to experience stress, this Covid-19 pandemic condition has a tendency to increase the anxiety of pregnant women. This study aims to describe the level of anxiety of pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a literature study approach. Search articles using electronic based, such as Garuda Portal, Google Scholar, PubMed and Sciencedirect with the keywords anxiety, pregnant women and Covid-19 so that 372 articles are obtained. Articles are filtered based on the last 5 years (2017- 2021). Then the articles were filtered again based on several inclusion and exclusion criteria so that 11 articles were obtained that matched the topic. Based on a study of 11 articles, 10 articles showed that the majority of the anxiety levels of pregnant women were at a mild-moderate level of anxiety, but there were articles that showed the anxiety levels of pregnant women were at a very severe level, namely in the seventh article which showed respondents in the study experienced very heavy anxiety. Conclusion: The anxiety level of pregnant women during the COVID-19 pandemic is at a mild-moderate level of anxiety. It is hoped that nurses can help pregnant women reduce anxiety, one of which is by applying non- pharmacological therapy.
