Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang : Depresi merupakan gangguan mental yang mempengaruhi lebih dari 350 juta jiwa di dunia, di Indonesia prevalensi gangguan mental sebanyak 9,8 % dan kejadian depresi dapat terjadi pada 1 dari 15 orang dewasa. Depresi banyak dialami lansia karena pada masa tersebut banyak terjadi perubahan dalam kehidupan dan kurang mendapat dukungan sosial. Dukungan sosial diartikan sebagai kepedulian yang diberikan dari orang yang dapat diandalkan, menghargai, dan menyayangi. Tujuan : Penelitian ini berujuan untuk diketahui Hubungan Dukungan Sosial Dengan Kejadian Depresi Pada Lansia Pada Studi Literatur. Metode : Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur dengan pencarian artikel menggunakan data base Google Scholar, PubMed, Portal Garuda dan DOAJ untuk menemukan artikel yang sesuai dengan kreteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil : Berdasarkan hasil Studi Literatur terdapat 10 artikel penelitian yang mengatakan ada hubungan dukungan sosial dengan kejadian depresi pada lansia dan 1 artikel mengatakan tidak ada hubungan dukungan sosial dengan kejadian depresi pada lansia, dikarenakan dengan dukungan sosial lansia masih bisa mengalami depresi kerena terlalu memikirkan hal negatif pada lingkungan sekitar. Kejadian depresi pada lansia juga karena tinggalnya di rumah sendirian, sedih berkepanjangan, sering murung dan tidak mau bersosialisasi. Kesimpulan : Banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi kejadian depresi pada lansia salah satunya adalah kurangnya dukungan sosial, dari 11 artikel yang dianalisis terdapat 10 artikel yang ada hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan depresi pada lansia. Kata kunci : Dukungan sosial, Depresi, Lansia. ABSTRACT Background: Depression is a mental disorder that affects more than 350 million people in the world, in Indonesia the prevalence of mental disorders is 9.8% and the incidence of depression can occur in 1 in 15 adults. Depression is experienced by many elderly people because at that time there were many changes in life and lacked social support. Social support is defined as caring given from people who are reliable, appreciative, and affectionate. Objective :This study aims to find out theRelationship between Social Support and the Incidence of Depression in the Elderly in literature studies. Method : This research is a literature study with article searches using the Google Scholar data base , PubMed, Garuda Portal and DOAJ to find articles that match the creteria of inclusion and exclusion. Results: Based on the results of the Literature Study, there are 10 research articles that say there is a relationship between social support and the incidence of depression in the elderly and 1 article says there is no relationship between social support and the incidence of depression in the elderly, because with social support the elderly can still experience depression because they think too much about negative things in the surrounding environment. The incidence of depression in the elderly is also due to living at home alone, sad for a long time, often moody and unwilling to socialize. Conclusion: There are many factors that influence the incidence of depression in the elderly, one of which is the lack of social support, of the 11 articles analyzed there are 10 articles that have a relationship between social support and depression in the elderly.
