Abstract

HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B are infectious diseases which high risk of being transmitted from pregnant women to their babies. With the aim of breaking the chain of transmission of the disease, the government created a Triple Elimination program by screening during ANC. This study aims to determine the characteristics of pregnant women with HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B in Jambi City in 2021 through a triple elimination program. This a descriptive research. The sample is all pregnant women with HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B in Jambi City in 2021. The result is pregnant women with HIV with the highest proportion aged 20-35 years (62.5%), household work (75%), secondary education (SMA/MA, SMK/MAK) (62.5%), Alam Barajo sub-district ( 25%) and Jambi Timur (25%), multigravida (62.5%), primipara (37.5%) and had no history of abortion (87.5%). Pregnant women with syphilis with the highest proportion aged 20-35 years (77.3%), household work (63.6%), secondary education (SMA/MA, SMK/MAK) (59.1%), Kota Baru sub-district (27.3%), multigravida (54.5%), nullipara (40.9%), and had no history of abortion (86.4%). Pregnant women with Hepatitis B with the highest proportion at the age of 20-35 years (81.2%), household work (62.3%), secondary education (SMA/MA, SMK/MAK) (59.4%), Alam Barajo sub-district (26.1%), multigravida (65.2%), primipara (39.1%), and had no history of abortion (89.9%). The description of the sample characteristics in this study varied from various background and sociodemographics.
