Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pengembangan layanan e-health dengan peranan komputer dalam mengelola dan melakukan pertukaran data kesehatan melalui elektronik menjadi sangat diperlukan, dikarenakan data kesehatan selain teks dapat berupa data gambar, suara, dan multimedia lainnya. Pengembangan layanan e-health tersebut berupa rekam medis elektronik adaptasi sebelumnya dari rekam medis konvesional yang memiliki banyak keterbatasan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui manfaat dan tantangan dari penerapan rekam medis elektronik di rumah sakit Metode: Studi ini merupakan studi literatur yang berupa literatur review. Pencarian artikel menggunakan elektronik based, seperti PubMed, Google Scholar, dan Garuda dengan menggunakan kata kunci Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menemukan artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi kemudian dilakukan review artikel. Didapatkan 12 artikel yang diperoleh dari hasil screening. Hasil: Berdasarkan hasil analisis dari 12 artikel, didapatkan 5 artikel membahas manfaat dan tantangan penerapan rekam medis elektronik dan 7 artikel hanya membahas manfaat dari penerapan rekam medis elektronik. Kesimpulan: Adanya manfaat penerapan rekam medis elektronik dan tantangan penerapan rekam medis elektronik sesuai kerangka teori maupun manfaat dan tantangan baru Kata Kunci : Manfaat, RME, Rekam Medis Elektronik, Tantangan Background: The development of e-health services with the role of computers in managing and exchanging health data through electronics is very necessary, because health data other than text can be in the form of image, voice, and other multimedia data. The development of e-health services is in the form of electronic medical records previously adapted from conventional medical records that have many limitations. Purpose: To know the benefits and challenges of implementing electronic medical records in hospitals Method: This study is a literature study in the form of literature review. Search for articles using electronic based, such as PubMed, Google Scholar, and Garuda using keywords Indonesian and English. This is done to find articles that fit the inclusion and exclusion criteria and then a journal review is carried out. 12 journals were obtained from the screening results. Result: Based on the results of the analysis from 12 journals, 5 journals discussed the benefits and challenges of implementing electronic medical records and 7 journals only discussed the benefits of implementing electronic medical records. Conclusion: There are benefits of implementing electronic medical records and challenges of implementing electronic medical records according to the theoretical framework as well as new benefits and challenges Keywords: Benefits, EHR, Electronic Medical Records, Challenges
