Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh mahasiswa yang mengikuti Program Mahasiswa Wirausaha (PMW) yang telah menerima bantuan dana dengan besaran jumlahnya telah ditetapkan. Mahasiswa yang mengikuti program tersebut masih ada yang tidak konsisten dengan usahanya, serta laba yang didapat tidak sesuai dengan ekspektasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa PMW tahun 2020-2021 Universitas Jambi yang berjumlah 146 tim. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan probability sampling dengan jumlah sampel yaitu 104 tim sebagai responden. Adapun teknik dalam pengumpulan datanya dengan menggunakan angket yang disebarkan secara online. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) Tedapat pengaruh antara sikap kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t, terlihat bahwa thitung > ttabel dengan nilai 7,479 > 1,65993 maka dapat diartikan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti sikap kewirausahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. (2) Terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi wirausaha terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil uji t, terlihat bahwa thitung > ttabel dengan nilai 5,174 > 1,65993 maka dapat diartikan bahwa Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Hal ini berarti kompetensi wirausaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. (3) Tedapat pengaruh antara sikap kewirausahaan dan kompetensi wirausaha terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan hasil uji F dimana nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (63,108 > 3,08) dan nilai (sig) lebih kecil dari nilai probabilitas 0,05 atau 0,000 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan antara sikap kewirausahaan dan kompetensi wirausaha secara simultan terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, sikap kewirausahaan dan kompetensi wirausaha memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Dengan adanya sikap kewirausahaan dan kompetensi yang ada pada diri seorang wirausahawan akan memberikan peluang usahanya dapat berkembang dan berhasil. Dengan adanya penelitian ini, peneliti menyarankan kepada peneliti selanjutnya untuk menggunakan variabel lain, serta menggunakan sampel yang berbeda sehingga wawasan menjadi lebih luas. This research was motivated by students who participated in the Student Entrepreneurial Program (PMW) who had received financial assistance with a predetermined amount. There are still students who take part in the program who are inconsistent with their business, and the profits they get are not in line with expectations. This research is a research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were PMW students from 2020-2021 Jambi University, totaling 146 teams. The sampling technique in this study used probability sampling with a total sample of 104 teams as respondents. The technique for collecting data is using a questionnaire distributed online. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is an influence between entrepreneurial attitudes on business success. This can be proven by the results of the t-test, it can be seen that tcount > ttable with a value of 7.479 > 1.65993, it can be interpreted that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that entrepreneurial attitude has a significant effect on business success. (2) There is an influence between entrepreneurial competence on business success. This can be proven by the results of the t test, it can be seen that tcount > ttable with a value of 5.174 > 1.65993, it can be interpreted that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that entrepreneurial competence has a significant effect on business success. (3) There is an influence between entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial competence on business success. This can be proven by the results of the F test where the value of Fcount is greater than Ftable (63.108 > 3.08) and the value (sig) is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 or 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. From these results it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between entrepreneurial attitudes and entrepreneurial competence simultaneously on business success. Based on the results of the study, entrepreneurial attitudes and entrepreneurial competencies have a positive influence on business success. With the entrepreneurial attitude and competence that exists in an entrepreneur, it will provide opportunities for his business to develop and succeed. With this research, the researcher suggests to the next researcher to use other variables, as well as using a different sample so that the insight becomes wider.
