Abstract

Abstrak : Penelitian ini ditunjukan untuk; (1) menggambarkan perkembangan ekspor karet alam Indonesia dan Thailand ke pasar China. (2) menganalisis daya saing ekspor karet alam Indonesia dan Thailand secara komparatif dan kompetitif ke pasar China. data yang digunakan yaitu data sekunder periode 2001 – 2020 yang diperoleh dari United Nation Comodity Trade (UNCOMTRADE). Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Analisis Deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan ekspor karet alam serta menggunakan analisis Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) dan Export Competitiveness Index (ECI) untuk menganalisis daya saing karet alam Indonesia dan Thailand ke pasar China, lalu dilakukan uji t statistik untuk melihat perbedaan daya saing Indonesia dan Thailand secara komparatif dan kompetitif ke pasar China. Penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa perkembangan ekspor karet alam Indonesia ke pasar China ternyata lebih besar dari pada Thailand baik dari segi volume maupun nilai ekspor. Untuk daya saing Indonesia secara komparatif lebih kecil daripada Thailand sedangkan daya saing secara kompetitif Indonesia dan Thailand secara statistik adalah sama. Abstract : This study was shown to; (1) describe the development of Indonesia and Thailand's natural rubber exports to the Chinese market. (2) analyze the competitiveness of Indonesia and Thailand's natural rubber exports in a comparative and competitive manner to the Chinese market. The data used is secondary data for the period 2001 – 2020 obtained from the United Nation Comodity Trade (UNCOMTRADE). The data analysis method used in this study is a Descriptive Analysis which aims to describe natural rubber exports and use revealed comparative advantage (RCA) and export competitiveness index (ECI) analysis to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian and Thailand natural rubber to the Chinese market, then a statistical t-test was carried out to see the difference in the competitiveness of Indonesia and Thailand comparatively and competitively to the Chinese market. This research shows that the development of Indonesia's natural rubber exports to the Chinese market is actually greater than Thailand's both in terms of volume and export value. For competitiveness Indonesia is comparatively smaller than Thailand while the competitiveness competitiveness of Indonesia and Thailand is statistically the same.
