Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi Sosial Ekonomi petani Kopi di Kabupaten Merangin, kemudian uUntuk menganalisis pengaruh modal, tenaga kerja, luas lahan dan pupuk terhadap produksi biji Kopi di kabupaten Merangin dan untuk menganalisis strategi peningkatan produksi biji Kopi di Kabupaten Merangin., Model Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan alat analisis eviews 9. Adapun teknik dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, interview, dan kuisioner. Hasil Penelitian, Analisis Sosial Ekonomi Petani Kopi Arabika di Kabupaten Merangin menunjukkan rata-rata petani Kopi adalah berumur 40-50 tahun, dengan rata-rata pendidikan adalah SMA, dan jenis kelamin laki-laki. Hasil analisis pengaruh luas lahan, tenaga kerja, pupuk dan modal terhadap produksi Kopi menunjukkan variabel luas lahan dan pupuk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi Kopi, sedangkan tenaga kerja dan modal tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produksi Kopi di Kabupaten Merangin. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang paling tepat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan produksi Kopi di Kabupaten Merangin adalah strategi Strengh Opportunities yaitu mengoptimalkan kekuatan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ada pada petani Kopi Kabupaten Merangin. Kata kunci : Sosial Ekonomi, Determinan, Produksi Kopi, Merangin This study aims to determine the socioeconomic condition of coffee farmers in Merangin Regency, then to analyze the effect of capital, labor, land area and fertilizer on coffee bean production in Merangin Regency and to analyze strategies for increasing coffee bean production in Merangin Regency., This research model is a descriptive research type with a quantitative approach. The research model used is multiple linear regression with analysis tools eviews 9. The techniques in data collection in this study used observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study, Socio-Economic Analysis of Arabica Coffee Farmers in Merangin Regency showed that the average coffee farmer was 40-50 years old, with an average education of high school, and male gender. The results of the analysis of the effect of land area, labor, fertilizer and capital on coffee production show that the variables of land area and fertilizer have a significant effect on coffee production, while labor and capital have no significant effect on coffee production in Merangin Regency. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the most appropriate strategy applied to increase coffee production in Merangin Regency is the Strengh Opportunities strategy, which is to optimize strengths and take advantage of opportunities that exist in Merangin Regency Coffee farmers.
