Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui gambaran usahatani kopi liberika di Kecamatan Betara, 2) menganalisis pendapatan usahatani kopi liberika di Kecamatan Betara dan 3) menganalisis tingkat kelayakan usahatani kopi liberika di Kecamatan Betara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan September hingga bulan Oktober tahun 2021 di Kecamatan Betara Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat secara sengaja (purposive). Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah petani kopi liberika. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengambilan sampel secara simple random sampling. Jumlah petani sampel adalah 77 orang dengan pembagian 44 orang di Desa Mekar Jaya dan 33 orang di Desa Bunga Tanjung. Sedangkan analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis kuantitatif mengenai pendapatan dan kelayakan usahatani kopi liberika dengan R/C ratio dan π/C ratio. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Luas lahan yang dimiliki petani kopi liberika di daerah penelitian rata-rata luas lahan yaitu 1,95 ha. Pola tanam kopi liberika dilakukan secara campuran dengan tanaman pinang dengan cara ditanam disela-selanya. Kegiatan tenaga kerja pada usahatani kopi liberika meliputi pemeliharaan, panen, dan pasca panen, 2) Produksi rata-rata sebesar 239,00/ha/tahun, dengan total biaya sebesar Rp. 1.925.874/ha/tahun, penerimaan sebesar Rp. 7.170.000/ha/tahun dan pendapatan yang diperoleh sebesar Rp. 5.244.153/ha/tahun. Dimana pendapatan kopi liberika didaerah penelitian masih tergolong rendah. Artinya kopi liberika tidak dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber pendapatan utama bagi petani dan hanya dapat sebagai sumber pendapatan tambahan saja. 3) Usahatani kopi liberika menguntungkan dengan hasil analisis R/C ratio 3,72 artinya R/C ratio > 1 dan layak diusahakan dengan hasil analisis π/C ratio 272,3 % artinya π/C ratio > i. This research was carried out from September to October 2021 in Betara District, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency intentionally (purposively). The data used are primary data and secondary data. The population in this study were liberica coffee farmers. The sampling technique in this study used a simple random sampling method. The number of sample farmers was 77 people with 44 people in Mekar Jaya Village and 33 people in Bunga Tanjung Village. While the data analysis used is descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis of the income and feasibility of liberica coffee farming with R/C ratio and π/C ratio. The results showed that: 1) The area of land owned by liberica coffee farmers in the study area was 1.95 ha on average. Liberica coffee planting pattern is carried out in a mixture with areca nut plants by planting them between them. Labor activities in liberica coffee farming include maintenance, harvest, and post-harvest, 2) Average production is 239.00/ha/year, with a total cost of Rp. 1,925,874/ha/year, revenue of Rp. 7,170,000/ha/year and the income earned is Rp. 5,244,153/ha/year. Where the income of liberica coffee in the research area is still relatively low. This means that Liberica coffee cannot be used as the main source of income for farmers and can only be used as an additional source of income. 3) Liberica coffee farming is profitable with the results of the analysis of the R/C ratio of 3,72, meaning that the R/C ratio is > 1 and it is feasible to operate with the results of the analysis of π/C ratio of 272,3 %, which means π/C ratio > i.
