Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh berbagai bahan organik terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kepayang (Pangium edule). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Hutan Pendidikan dan Kebun Pembibitan Program Studi Kehutanan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi, Desa Mendalo Indah, Kecamatan Jambi Luar kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan satu faktorial yaitu dengan 6 perlakuan yang masing-masing terdiri atas: T0 (tanpa bahan organik), T1 (pupuk kandang ayam 300 gram/polybag), T2 (pupuk kandang sapi 300 gram/polybag), T3 (kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit 300 gram/polybag), T4 (kompos serasah campuran 300 gram/polybag), dan T5 (pupuk organik cair NASA 100 ml/polybag dengan konsentrasi 8 cc/liter air). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian berbagai bahan organik tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap parameter tinggi bibit, diameter bibit dan tinggi bibit, namun berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat kering akar, berat kering tajuk dan panjang akar. Perlakuan T4 (kompos serasah campuran) merupakan perlakuan terbaik untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan bibit kepayang. Kata Kunci: Bahan Organik, Bibit Kepayang, Polybag, Pengaruh ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of various organic materials on the growth of Kepayang (Pangium edule) seedlings.This research was conducted at the Education Forest Laboratory and Nursery Forest Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University, Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Outer City District, Muaro Jambi Regency. This study was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) method with one factorial, namely with 6 treatments, each of which consisted of: T0 (without organic matter), T1 (chicken manure 300 grams/polybag), T2 (cow manure 300 grams/polybag), gram/polybag), T3 (300 gram/polybag), T4 (300 gram/polybag mixed litter), and T5 (NASA liquid organic fertilizer 100 ml/polybag with a concentration of 8 cc/liter of water).The results showed that the application of various organic materials did not significantly affect the parameters of seedling height, seedling diameter, and seedling height, but had a significant effect on root dry weight, shoot dry weight, and root length. T4 treatment (mixed litter compost) is the best treatment to increase the growth of kepayang seedlings. Keywords: Organic Ingredients, Kepayang Seeds, Polybag, Effect
