Abstract

Classroom management is an important aspect of teaching. This is to create an environment in which the teaching and learning process can take place efficiently. For the classroom learning process according to the procedures designed by the teacher, it is better for the teacher itself to know and understand one of the causes of the obstruction of the learning process. That is, the teacher must first know what types of student behavior are. Behavior is all that relates to the actions or treatment of a person to another person. In the classroom, of course, there is good and bad student behavior. This study provided an overview of the types of student behavior in the classroom. this research applies descriptive qualitative research method. The way the researcher found the participant was used purposive sampling, with some criteria given by the researcher. There were five participants in this study, two teachers and three students. The findings in this study indicate several types of student behavior, both good and bad. Good behavior relates to how students treat teachers in class, such as following the rules and doing the teacher's orders and being kind to their friends. While bad behavior has a lot to do with classmates and teachers, such as fighting, stealing friends' things, cheating, speaking out of context, not respecting each other, disturbing each other, skipping school, and even sexual harassment.
