Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang keragaman genetik tanaman nanas di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Dilaksanakan di beberapa wilayah Kecamatan Kabupaten Muaro Jambi yaitu, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota, Sekernan, Kumpeh Ilir, Kumpeh Ulu, Maro Sebo, Mestong, Sungai Bahar, Sungai Gelam, Bahar Utara, Bahar Selatan, dan Kecamatan Taman Rajo. Penelitian ini dilaksasanakan selama satu bulan dari bulan November sampai Desember 2021. Bahan penelitian yang digunakan adalah sampel tanaman nanas yang berjumlah 51 individu. Alat yang digunakan adalah: alat tulis, kertas label, color chart, plastik, cangkul, pisau, meteran, jangka sorong, timbangan, refractometer , kamera digital, dan kertas background. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif non eksperimen dengan pengambilan sampel nanas generasi pertama secara Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Pengambilan sampel dengan cara tersebut dilakukan secara acak dengan memperhatikan strata yang ada. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pengamatan langsung terhadap tanaman nanas dan melakukan wawancara kepada petani nanas tersebut, kemudian melakukan pengukuran. This study aims to obtain information about the genetic diversity of pineapple plants in Muaro Jambi District. Implemented in several districts of Muaro Jambi Regency namely, Jambi Luar Kota District, Sekernan, Kumpeh Ilir, Kumpeh Ulu, Maro Sebo, Mestong, Sungai Bahar, Sungai Gelam, Bahar Utara, Bahar Selatan, dan Taman Rajo District. This research was carried out for one month from November to December 2021. The research material used was a sample of 51 individuals of pineapple plants. The tools used are: stationery, label paper, color chart, plastic, hoe, knife, meter, caliper, scales, refractometer, digital camera, and background paper. This research was carried out using a non-experimental descriptive method with sampling of the first generation of pineapple by proportional stratified random sampling. Sampling in this way is done randomly by taking into account the existing level. Data collection was carried out by direct observation of the pineapple plant and conducting interviews with the pineapple farmers, then taking measurements.
