Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui gambaran usahatani cabai merah keriting, 2) Mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi terhadap produksi cabai merah keriting, 3) Menganalisis tingkat efisiensi penggunaan faktor produksi usahatani cabai merah keriting di Kecamatan Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 02 Oktober hingga 20 November 2021 di Desa Maju Jaya Kecamatan Kumpeh Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode simple random sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 63 petani. Metode analisis untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi terhadap produksi cabai digunakan fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas, untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi digunakan perbandingan nilai produk marginal dengan harga faktor produksi yang digunakan pada usahatani cabai merah keriting. Efisiensi dihitung dengan melihat perbandingan harga produk marginal dengan harga faktor produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara simultan besarnya pengaruh faktor produksi 90,10%. Faktor produksi yang mempengaruhi jumlah produksi dn telah efisien antara lain Luas lahan, Benih, Pupuk NPK, Pupuk Kandang, Pupuk SP36, dan Pestisida. Sedangkan faktor produksi yang tidak beRpengaruh secara nyata yaitu Tenaga Kerja. Kata Kunci : Efisiensi, Cabai Merah, Faktor Produksi, Cobb-douglas ABSTRACT This study aims to: 1) Knowing the description of curly red chili farming, 2) Knowing the effect of the use of production factors on the production of curly red chilies, 3) Analyzing the efficiency level of using curly red chili farming production factors in Kumpeh District, Muaro Jambi Regency. This research was conducted from October 02 to November 20, 2021 in Maju Jaya Village, Kumpeh District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The sampling method used simple random sampling method with the number of respondents as many as 63 farmers. The method of analysis to determine the effect of the use of production factors on corn production used the Cobb-Douglas production function, to analyze the level of efficiency of the use of production factors used the comparison of the value of the marginal product with the price of the production factors used in curly red chili farming. Efficiency is calculated by looking at the comparison of the price of the marginal product with the price of the factors of production. The results showed that simultaneously the magnitude of the influence of production factors was 90.10%. Production factors that affect the amount of production and have been efficient include land area, seeds, NPK fertilizer, manure, SP36 fertilizer, and pesticides.
