Abstract

his research focuses on the student's perception toward the efficiency of E-Learning used in learning English used by students in the English education study program during the Covid-19 pandemic at Universitas Jambi. The research method was the descriptive quantitative method. The total samples in this research were 180 of the total population of students who have been actively using E-Learning for 1 year in English Study Program of Jambi University. Data obtained from a questionnaire about students’ perception and the efficiency of E-Learning in learning English during The covid-19 pandemic is analyzed quantitatively. The findings indicate that the students have a positive perception of the Efficiency of E-Learning used in learning English during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the mean percentage in every aspect, with the details of easiness aspect of 41,21% and usefulness aspect of 3,91%. It shows that the E-Learning used in learning English used by students of English study programs during the covid-19 pandemic was efficient because E-Learning become an alternative way to conduct learning activities from home and students believe that E-Learning would be convenient and save cost and time.
