Abstract
RINGKASAN Pengaruh Waktu Pengendalian Gulma dan Konsentrasi Eco enzyme Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Bawang Merah (Allium ascalonicum L.). (SONDANG SANTOSO SIMANJUNTAK di bawah bimbingan Dr. Ir. Irianto, M.P. dan Elly Indra Swari, S.P., M.P.) Bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas tanaman hortikultura yang tergolong dalam famili Liliaceae dan genus Allium yang paling banyak dikonsumsi sehari-hari oleh masyarakat Indonesia dan memiliki nilai potensial tinggi untuk dikembangkan di Indonesia. Salah satu penyebab terjadinya fluktuasi produktivitas bawang merah Indonesia dan Jambi adalah rendahnya produksi yang disebabkan oleh gulma dan penggunaan pupuk anorganik. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan produktivitas bawang merah yaitu melalui perbaikan teknik budidaya dengan waktu pengendalian gulma yang tepat dan pemberian eco enzyme pada berbagai konsentrasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mempelajari pengaruh pengendalian gulma dan pemberian eco enzyme terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah, mendapatkan waktu pengendalian gulma dan konsentrasi eco enzyme yang dapat memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil bawang merah terbaik. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Teaching and research Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jambi yang terletak di Desa Mendalo Indah, Kecamatan Jambi Luar Kota, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi dengan ketinggian tempat ± 35 mdpl . Penelitian ini dilaksanakan ± 3 bulan yaitu pada bulan April 2022 sampai bulan Juni 2022 menggunakan Rancangan Acak kelompok (RAK) Hasil penelitian Perlakuan waktu pengendalian gulma dan pemberian eco enzyme berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah. Perlakuan penyiangan 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56 hst dan konsentrasi 20 mL.L-1 eco enzyme sudah mampu memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, bobot umbi per siung, bobot umbi basah dan bobot kering umbi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan lainya. SUMMARY Effect of Weed Control Time and Eco Enzyme Concentration on Growth and Yield of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). (SONDANG SANTOSO SIMANJUNTAK under the guidance of Dr. Ir. Irianto, M.P. and Elly Indra Swari, S.P., M.P.) Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.) is one of the horticultural crop commodities belonging to the family Liliaceae and the genus Allium which is most consumed daily by the people of Indonesia and has high potential value to be developed in Indonesia. One of the causes of fluctuations in the productivity of shallots in Indonesia and Jambi is the low production caused by weeds and the use of inorganic fertilizers. One of the efforts to increase the productivity of shallots is through improving cultivation techniques with appropriate weed control times and the provision of eco-enzymes at various concentrations. The purpose of this study was to study the effect of weed control and application of eco-enzyme on the growth and yield of shallots, to obtain weed control time and the concentration of eco-enzymes that could provide the best growth and yield of shallots. This research was conducted at the Teaching and Research Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Jambi University, which is located in Mendalo Indah Village, Jambi Outer City District, Muaro Jambi Regency with an altitude of ± 35 meters above sea level. This research was carried out for ± 3 months, from April 2022 to June 2022 using a Randomized Block Design (RAK). The results of the study The treatment of weed control time and the administration of eco-enzymes affected the growth and yield of shallots. Weeding treatments 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56 DAP and a concentration of 20 mL.L-1 eco enzyme was able to give the best results on plant height, tuber weight per clove, wet tuber weight and weight. tuber dryness compared to other treatments.
