Skripsi Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika, Jurusan Pendidikan Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, FKIP Universitas Jambi, Pembimbing (I) Dr. Sri Purwaningsih, S.Si., M.Si, (II) Neneng Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd Kata Kunci : Pengembangan, Virtual Laboratory, Kinematika Gerak Lurus Pandemi COVID-19 yang terjadi berdampak terhadap kegiatan perkuliahan termasuk kegiatan praktikum yang sulit dilaksanakan di laboratorium, padahal praktikum sangat penting untuk tetap dilakukan, oleh sebab itu agar praktikum tetap berjalan maka praktikum dapat dilakukan secara virtual yang dikenal dengan virtual laboratory. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kelayakan laboratorium virtual pada materi kinematika gerak lurus dan mengetahui bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap produk laboratorium virtual pada materi kinematika gerak lurus menggunakan model problem based learning. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan four-D (4-D) yang terdiri dari tahap pendefinisian (Define), perancangan (Design), pengembangan (Development), dan penyebaran (Disseminate). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa angkatan 2021 Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Jambi yang telah selesai mengontrak mata kuliah Fisika Dasar. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan pengumpulan data berupa angket, wawancara, angket validasi materi, dan angket validasi media. Hasil Penelitian ini adalah pada validasi media yaitu ditahap I diperoleh skor sebesar 97,92% dan tahap II diperoleh skor sebesar 100%. Pada validasi materi yaitu ditahap I diperoleh skor sebesar 84,09% dan tahap II diperoleh skor sebesar 100%. Sedangkan pada persepsi mahasiswa untuk keseluruhan indikator diperoleh skor sebesar 82,09% sehingga virtual laboratory pada materi kinematika gerak lurus menggunakan model problem based learning siap digunakan sebagai media penunjang praktikum. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan dan uji coba yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian pengembangan ini menghaslkan produk yaitu laboratorium virtual (virtual laboratory) berbasis Adobe Flash CS5.5 pada materi kinematika gerak lurus dan dari hasil persepsi mahasiswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk laboratorium virtual (virtual laboratory) berbasis Adobe Flash CS5.5 yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan. Thesis of Physics Education Study Program, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Education, FKIP Jambi University, Supervisor (I) Dr. Sri Purwaningsih, S.Si., M.Si, (II) Neneng Lestari, S.Pd., M.Pd Keywords: Development, Virtual Laboratory, Straight Motion Kinematics The COVID-19 pandemic that occurred had an impact on lecture activities, including practicum activities that were difficult to carry out in the laboratory, even though practicum was very important to continue, therefore, in order to keep the practicum running, the practicum could be done virtually, known as a virtual laboratory. This study aims to find out how the feasibility of a virtual laboratory on linear motion kinematics material and how students perceive virtual laboratory products on straight motion kinematics material using a problem based learning model. This research is a type of research and development (Research and Development) using a four-D development model (4-D) which consists of the stages of definition (Define), design (Design), development (Development), and dissemination (Disseminate). The subjects in this study were students of the 2021 Physics Education class of Jambi University who had finished contracting the Basic Physics course. In this study using data collection in the form of questionnaires, interviews, material validation questionnaires, and media validation questionnaires. The results of this study are on media validation, namely in the first stage, a score of 97.92% is obtained and the second stage is a score of 100%. In the validation of the material, namely in the first stage, a score of 84.09% was obtained and the second stage obtained a score of 100%. Meanwhile, students' perceptions of the overall indicators obtained a score of 82.09% so that the virtual laboratory on straight motion kinematics material using a problem based learning model is ready to be used as a medium for supporting practicum. Based on the results of development and trials that have been carried out, it can be concluded that this development research produces a product, namely a virtual laboratory (virtual laboratory) based on Adobe Flash CS5.5 on linear motion kinematics material and from the results of student perceptions it can be concluded that the virtual laboratory product (virtual laboratory) ) based on Adobe Flash CS5.5 which was developed is feasible to use.
