Abstract

ABSTRAK Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II terletak di Kecamatan Batin XXIV, Kabupaten Batanghari, Provinsi Jambi dengan luasan wilayah seluas 41,37 hektar berdasarkan SK Menteri Kehutanan Nomor 821/kpts-II/1997. Kawasan Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II di bagi menjadi dua bagian yaitu, blok perlindungan dan blok rehabilitasi. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apa saja jenis primata yang ada di Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II Kabupaten Batanghari serta bagaimana keanekaragaman jenis primata yang ada di Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II Kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis primata di Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II Kabupaten Batanghari serta menganalisis keanekaragaman jenis primata yang ada di Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II kabupaten Batanghari. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober hingga November 2021 tepatnya di kawasan Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II Kabupaten Batanghari dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis primata di Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode transek jalur untuk mengumpulkan data jenis dan jumlah individu primata. Hasil penelitian ditemukan sebanyak 4 jenis primata yang ada di kawasan Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II yaitu beruk (Macaca nemstrina), lutung kelabu (Trachyplithecus cristatus), monyet ekor panjang (Macaca fascicularis) dan simpai (Presbytis melalophos). Kata Kunci : Cagar Alam Durian Luncuk II, Jenis Primata ABSTRACT Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve is located in Batin XXIV District, Batanghari Regency, Jambi Province with an area of 41.37 hectares based on the Decree of the Minister of Forestry Number 821/kpts-II/1997. The Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve area is divided into two parts, namely, the protection block and the rehabilitation block. The formulation of the problem in this study is what are the types of primates in the Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve, Batanghari Regency and how is the diversity of primate species in the Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve, Batanghari Regency. This study aims to identify primate species in the Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve, Batanghari Regency and analyze the diversity of primate species in the Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve, Batanghari Regency. This research was carried out from October to November 2021, precisely in the Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve, Batanghari Regency with the aim of identifying primate species in the Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve. The data collection technique used the path transect method to collect data on the type and number of primate individuals. The results of the study found as many as 4 types of primates in the Durian Luncuk II Nature Reserve, namely the macaque (Macaca nemstrina), gray langur (Trachyplithecus cristatus), long-tailed monkey (Macaca fascicularis) and hoop (Presbytis melalophos).
