Penerapan Metode Problem Solving Dalam Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI IPS SMA Swasta Jauharul Falah Muaro Jambi: Skripsi, Jurusan Pendidikan Sejarah dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, FKIP Universitas Jambi. Kata Kunci:Problem Solving, Minat Belajar Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan serta menggambarkan indikator peningkatan dari keberhasilan setiap siklus dan pembelajaran melalui metode problem solvingserta untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi metode problem solvingdapat meningkatkan minat belajar sejarah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMASwasta Jauharul Falah Muaro Jambi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas XI IPS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, kuantitatif dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan terdapat peningkatan minat belajar siswa kelas XI IPS SMASwasta Jauharul Falah Muaro yang menggunakan metode problem solvingnilai kognitif pretes yang memperoleh presentase sebesar 27%, siklus I pada tindakan 1 memperoleh 36%, pada tindakan 2, memperoleh 40%. Pada siklus II tindakan 1 memperoleh 45%, tindakan 2 memperoleh 45%. Pada siklus III tindakan 1 memperoleh 63%, dan tindakan 2 memperoleh 90%. Meningkatnya hasil belajar dikarenakan daya minat belajar siswa yang meningkat dari setiap siklusnya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan terdapat peningkatan minat belajar sejarah yang menggunakan metode problem solving, presentasenya mengalami peningkatan disetiap siklusnya. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah agar dapat menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dalam menyampaikan materi. Metode yang berebasis kelompok bertujuan untuk proses pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik sehingga siswa senang, berminat dan lebih aktif pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Dan ciptakanlah kondisi kelas yang kondusif dan menyenangkan para siswa betah didalam kelas. ABSTRACT Fadilah, Zul. 2022. Keywords: Problem Solving, Interest in Learning The purpose of this study is to describe and describe the indicators of improvement of the success of each cycle and learning through problem solving methods and to find out how the implementation of problem solving methods can increase interest in learning history. This research was conducted at the private SMA Jauharul Falah Muaro Jambi. The subjects of this study were students of class XI IPS. This type of research is classroom action research, the data analysis technique used is descriptive. The data in this study were obtained from observations, interviews, quantitative and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in learning interest in class XI Social Sciences SMA Private High School Jauharul Falah Muaro who uses the problem solving method, the pretest cognitive score is 27%, the first cycle in action 1 gets 36%, in action 2, it gets 40%. In the second cycle, action 1 gets 45%, action 2 gets 45%. In the third cycle, action 1 got 63%, and action 2 got 90%. The increase in learning outcomes is due to the increasing student interest in learning from each cycle. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is an increase in interest in learning history using problem solving methods, the percentage has increased in each cycle. Suggestions that can be given are to be able to use appropriate learning methods in delivering the material. The group-based method aims to make the learning process more interesting so that students are happy, interested and more active when learning takes place. And create classroom conditions that are conducive and fun for students to feel at home in the classroom.
