Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “ Analisis Tingkat Pengetahuan Pangan Halal Mahasiswa Muslim Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Jambi 2018-2020”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui, memahami dan menganalisis tingkat pengetahuan dalam mengkonsumsi pangan halal serta konsep halal dan thayyib pada mahasiswa muslim fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis Universitas Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi didalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa muslim fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis Universitas Jambi 2018-2020. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan Probability Sampling dengan teknik Stratified Random Sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 95 orang. Instrument atau metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian menggunakan kuesioner (angket) dalam bentuk tes yang disebarkan secara online melalui google form. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis presentase dari distribusi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persentase dari indikator pendidikan diperoleh sebesar 89%, indikator persepsi diperoleh sebesar 65%, indikator pengalaman diperoleh sebesar 56%, dan indikator informasi diperoleh sebesar 66%. Adapun hasil dari rekapitulasi tingkat pengetahuan pangan halal mahasiswa muslim fakultas ekonomi dan bisnis Universitas Jambi diperoleh 69% dengan kategori pengetahuan “Cukup”. ABSTRACT This research is entitled "Analysis of Halal Food Knowledge Level of Muslim Students, Faculty of Economics and Business, Jambi University 2018-2020". This study aims to determine, understand and analyze the level of knowledge in consuming halal food as well as the concept of halal and thayyib in Muslim students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Jambi University. This type of research is descriptive quantitative, the population in this study are Muslim students of the economics and business faculty of Jambi University 2018-2020. Sampling using Probability Sampling with Stratified Random Sampling technique with a total sample of 95 people. The instrument or method of data collection in the study used a questionnaire (questionnaire) in the form of a test that was distributed online through the google form. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of the percentage of the data distribution. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of the education indicator is 89%, the perception indicator is 65%, the experience indicator is 56%, and the information indicator is 66%. The results of the recapitulation of the level of knowledge of halal food for Muslim students from the Economics and Business Faculty of Jambi University obtained 69% with the "Enough" category of knowledge.
