Abstract

From a recitation activity or majlista'lim, this was the beginning of the development of the An-Nur Tangkit Islamic boarding school. On October 23, 1995, Mr. H. Mukhlas (Alm) and his wife and three children donated part of their land to H. Rukhani, which the land was used as a place for the construction of Islamic boarding schools. This Islamic boarding school is located on Jl. An-Nur Tangkit, RT/RW, 008/003, Kel. Tangkit, Kec. Gelam River, Kab. Muaro Jambi. Starting from a religious education activity (recitation) for the Muslim sons and daughters of the Tangkit village, Mr. H. Muhlas, his wife and their three children diligently taught them to read and write the Qur'an, Fiqh, Prayer, and Aqidah at his residence, RT. 06 the village of Tangkit Kec, Kumpeh Ulu, Muaro Jambi Regency (which was formerly Batang Hari Regency) Jambi Province. The results of this study are that An-NurTangkit Islamic Boarding School is led by a person named Dr. KH.Marwazi, M.Ag. Development of the An-Nur Islamic Boarding School From a recitation activity or majlist'lim. The curriculum applied at the An-Nur Tangkit Islamic Boarding School refers to the modern system with the Gontor Islamic Boarding School as its reference
