Abstract

Keris left by the ancestor of the ex peratin tuo clan which is now stored in the recidence of the head tuo village, lembah masurai sub district, merangin district is one of the objects suspected of being a cultural heritage object that has potential important velues. The aim of research was to find out the isoteri dan eksetori aspects of the Sigindo Kuning keris so as to get research results in the form of potential important velues. The research method the used in this study is qualitative research seek to understhand even an even of human behavior which consists of saveral stages of archaeological research, namely data collection, data processing, and data analisys. The result the study describe how the eksoteri aspects are compared with Jawa, Melayu, dan Bali. While the isoteri aspects of the Sigindo Kuning keris are throught direct field obeservations, both data analized and written sources and provious research. Based on the research that has been done, it can be seen that eksetori aspects the Sigindo Kuning Keris are more dominant in resembling the leaves of the keris originating form the melayu region when viewed form a comparison of the size dan shape of pesi, the base of keris, body of the keris, and the tops as well as the comparison dhapur types. While the isoteri aspect of the Sigindo Kuning keris lies in the magical power of keris for the people of the ex peratin tuo clan.
