Abstract
ABSTRACT This research activity focuses on the Perjuangan Rakyat Jambi Museum. The main issue discussed is the evaluation of the Museum Perjuangan Rakyat Jambi Security System based on the standards set by ICOM and the book of Pedoman Museum Indonesia. This research uses descriptive analysis method in the final result. This research is based on facts that were in the field during the observation process that had been done previously. The process of collecting data in the field is carried out by means of observation, interviews, documentation, to a study of the literature study. The theory used is related to the Museum and Museum Security System and Evaluation. Based on the research activities that have been carried out, it was found that there are advantages and disadvantages in the security system of the Perjuangan Rakyat Jambi Museum, which include the following, the advantages lie in the lack of security threats that have occurred at the Perjuangan Rakyat Jambi Museum, the drawback lies in the supporting facilities and infrastructure for security both in terms of humans and in terms of technology that can become a new threat at the Museum Perjuangan Rakyat Jambi.
