Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi masyarakat Jambi tentang kesiapan Unit Usaha Syariah Bank 9 Jambi menghadapi Spin Off tahun 2023. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dengan narasumber. Data didapat oleh peneliti melalui wawancara terhadap MUI Provinsi Jambi, ormas Islam di Jambi, organisasi kemahasiswaan di Jambi, tokoh masyarakat Jambi, tokoh pengusaha muslim Jambi, Akademisi di Jambi dan masyarakat muslim. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat Jambi menganggap spin off ini merupakan langkah yang baik bagi Bank 9 Jambi. Masyarakat Jambi mayoritas berpandangan mendukung untuk terjadinya konversi dari Bank 9 Jambi yang masih menganut sistem konvensional hari ini menjadi syariah. Kata Kunci : Persepsi Masyarakat, Unit Usaha Syariah, Spin Off Abstract This study aims to determine the Jambi peoples perception of the readiness of the Sharia Business Unit of Bank 9 Jambi to face the Spin Off in 2023. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data obtained through in depth interviews with resource persons. The data was obtained by researchers through interviews with the The Islamic Indonesian Ulema Council Province Jambi, Islamic organizations in Jambi, student organizations in Jambi, Jambi figures, Jambi Muslim businessmen, academics in Jambi and Muslim peoples. The results showed that the Jambi peoples perception of this spin off was a good step for Bank 9 Jambi. The majority of the people of Jambi are of the view that they support the conversion of Bank 9 Jambi, which still adheres to the conventional system today, to become sharia.
