Abstract
This research was developmental research that purposed to develop a digital flipbook as supplementary materials in learning grammar for eighth-grade students at SMPN 16 Kota Jambi. For media development, this study employed both quantitative and qualitative methods. The development processes were adapted from Richey, Klein, and Nelson's developmental research model (2004). There were two phases: design and development. The design process began with analyzing the student's needs, followed by an English Textbook for Students, a syllabus, and library research. The development phase started with production and finished with expert judgment. The content validation score percentage was 80% and classified as "Good." The media validation score was 92%, and it was classified as "Excellent." It may be concluded that the product generated in this study is valid. This thesis also includes suggestions for future researchers.
