Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengetahui karakteristik sosial ekonomi pedagang buah - buahan di Kota Jambi. 2) mengetahui pengaruh modal usaha, jam kerja, lama usaha dan lokasi usaha terhadap pendapatan pedagang buah di Kota Jambi. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Alat analisis penelitian menggunakan alat analisis regresi berganda dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Penelitian ini di lakukan di Kota Jambi dengan populasi 164 Pedagang, dengan menentukan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus Slovin maka di dapatkan sampel 68 responden. Sedangkan pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara, kuisoner, dokumentasi. Variabel yang digunakan modal (X1), lama usaha (X2), Jam kerja (X3),lokasi usaha (X4) dan pendapatan (Y). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel independen modal usaha, lama usaha, jam kerja dan lokasi usaha secara bersama – sama berpengaruh terhadap terhadap pendapatan. Dan secara parsial hanya variabel modal dan lokasi usaha berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan pedagang buah - buahan di Kota Jambi, sementara variabel lama usaha dan jam kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pendapatan pedagang buah – buahan di Kota Jambi. Selanjutnya untuk nilai R square sebesar 0,521. Artinya sebesar 52,10 persen variasi pendapatan buah di kota jambi di jelaskan oleh variabel penelitian ini, sedangkan 47,90 persen di jelaskan oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian. This study aims to: 1) determine the socio-economic characteristics of fruit traders in Jambi City. 2) determine the effect of business capital, working hours, length of business and business location on the income of fruit traders in Jambi City. This study uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research analysis tool uses multiple regression analysis with a significant level of 5%. This research was conducted in Jambi City with a population of 164 traders, by determining the sample in this study using the Slovin formula, a sample of 68 respondents was obtained. While the data collection using interviews, questionnaires, documentation. The variables used are capital (X1), length of business (X2), working hours (X3), business location (X4) and income (Y). The results showed that simultaneously the independent variables of business capital, length of business, working hours and business location together had an effect on income. And partially only the variable of capital and business location have a significant effect on the income of fruit traders in Jambi City, while the variable length of business and working hours have no significant effect on the income of fruit traders in Jambi City. then for the R square value of 0.521. This means that 52.10 percent of the variation in fruit income in the city of Jambi is explained by this research variable, while 47.90 percent is explained by other variables outside the study.
