Abstract

Agroekosistem merupakan suatu komunitas yang di dalamnya terjadi interaksi antara komponen biotik dan komponen abiotik. Terbentuknya suatu agroekosistem tidak terlepas dari beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap keseimbangannya. Salah satunya adalah gangguan organisme penganggu tumbuhan (OPT), gangguan opt menyebabkan turunnya keanekaragaman arthropoda yang juga diiringi oleh kerusakan habitat, dan fragmentasi habitat. Sebagai upaya dalam penyeimbang agroekosistem, tumpang sari diketahui merupakan teknik budidaya alternatif dalam meningkatkan keanekaragaman serangga di suatu agroekosistem. Penelitian dirancang dalam Rancangan Acak Kelompok sebanyak 4 perlakuan, yaitu A: monokultur labu madu. B: tumpang sari labu madu dengan serai. C: tumpang sari labu madu dengan kunyit. D: tumpang sari labu madu dengan bawang daun. setiap perlakuan diulang 6 kali yang di tempatkan Secara Acak Kelompok. Pengolahan data dilakukan dalam bentuk tabulasi data menggunakan Microsoft excel 2019. selanjutnya dihitung menggunakan beberapa rumus, yaitu, indeks keanekaragaman (H’), indeks dominansi (C), indeks kesamaan (Cs), dan indeks kemerataan (E). kehadiran arthropoda herbivor pada perlakuan monokultur labu madu memiliki nilai tertinggi dibandingkan dengan perlakuan tumpang sari dengan beberapa tanaman repelen. Perlakuan tumpang sari memiliki jumlah dan proporsi arthropoda predator tertinggi, kehadiran arthropoda dengan peran ekologis sebagai musuh alami pada perlakuan tumpang sari mampu menekan populasi arthropoda herbivor. Perlakuan tumpang sari dengan tanaman repelen dapat menyediakan sumber pakan dan menyediakan habitat bagi sebagian besar arthropoda yang berperan sebagai musuh alami. An agroecosystem is a community in which interactions occur between biotic and abiotic components. The formation of an agroecosystem is inseparable from several factors that affect its balance. One of them is the disturbance of plant-disturbing organisms (OPT). OPT disturbances cause a decrease in arthropod diversity which is also accompanied by habitat destruction and habitat fragmentation. As an effort to balance agroecosystems, intercropping is known to be an alternative cultivation technique in increasing the diversity of insects in an agroecosystem. The study was designed in a randomized block design with 4 treatments, namely A: honey gourd monoculture. B: intercropping honey gourd with lemongrass. C: intercropping honey gourd with turmeric. D: intercropping honey gourd with scallions. each treatment was repeated 6 times which were placed in random groups. Data processing is carried out in the form of data tabulation using Microsoft Excel 2019. It is then calculated using several formulas, namely, diversity index (H'), dominance index (C), similarity index (Cs), and evenness index (E). the presence of herbivorous arthropods in the honey gourd monoculture treatment had the highest value compared to the intercropping treatment with several repellent plants. The intercropping treatment had the highest number and proportion of predatory arthropods, the presence of arthropods with an ecological role as natural enemies in the intercropping treatment was able to suppress herbivore arthropod populations. Intercropping treatment with repellent plants can provide a source of food and provide habitat for most of the arthropods that act as natural enemies.
